P90X Update (almost done!)

Hey blog world,


So excited I have just a little less than 2 weeks left of P90X! Feeling SO good you have no idea. I love to leave the house, put on my jean shorts, wear a form fitting tank and wear it confidently :) I love to carry both girls, 1 on each hip. I love to have to run up the stairs in my house (I have 2 flights... 3 stories) even if I'm not in a hurry. I love when I go mini-van shopping and they ask "are you sure you want a mini-van?" ..."yep, I have 2 little girlies".. "oh my word you don't look like you have 2 kids"... *grin* Thank you P90X!!! I love to ride my bike pulling a trailer. I love to bounce around, dance around, run around the house. I feel AMAAAAZING!!! Why do I want to do all this? Because I'm in shape :-) When have I ever been able to say that? Uh, never. SO FUN! Here are a few updated pictures of me and my progress.

P90X Update (Week 10)

Hey all! Just updating you on my fitness journey. Can't believe I only have 2 and 1/2 weeks left. So excited to hit the pool and feel good :-) I can honestly say working out now has become a part of my life in the last almost 90 days.. I don't feel complete if I don't work out. Same goes for my "diet". I LOVE the way I feel and love the results I have got. This is the REAL deal. 

Something funny, my older brother made fun of me when he saw my blog and Youtube videos, he said here he runs across videos like mine and is skeptical and thinks "yeah right" and now his sister is one making those videos :-) Made me laugh! Yep, here I am, doing the "before" and "afters". People I love it and I want to spread the love of how working hard towards something you want can really satisfy you, give you confidence, and make you feel plain and simply awesome!

60 day P90X Update

Hey readers! I am 60 days into P90X. Feel pretty awesome! I am SO close to my goal I can't believe it. I am scared because I have never gotten past this point (even pre babies), so I can't help but wonder will I? I guess we will have to see.

P90X Update (SOo excited!)

 I am SO excited to share some progress pictures. This week I feel like I saw some BIG changes. I did really good on my diet and obviously did the workouts. But you can still see some crazy results! Love it.

P90X Update (Week 6)

Well people its been 6 weeks. Can't believe it! I feel like time has literally FLOWN by. Kind of like when you have a baby and you count how old he/she is by weeks for like the first 12 weeks. :-) Ha, can ya tell I'm a mom? Point is, time flies!

I am really getting the hang of this and starting to love it. The initial pushing play for a work out is what is hard. I always have enough energy and mental strength to do the work outs and finish them, some days I can give more than others. I am starting to see results, which is pretty awesome.

Long story short I realized I haven't exactly been eating the right way, which explains why I haven't had much visible change in my stomach. I'd encourage anyone who is thinking of doing P90X to really do your research and find out what eating healthy means! I was 40 days into it when I realized that just because its whole wheat bread (I used to eat white bread) doesn't mean you can eat all you want of it. Which, I wasn't but I was eating at least 3 servings a day maybe 4 and according to the P90X nutrition guide for me it should only be 2! Once I learned and applied it (lets see its been... 4 days) I can already see a difference in the way my stomach is (less bloated) and also I haven't seen 124lbs since! Which is NICE!

I LOVE looking back at the beginning of how I was with some of the work outs to now. SO fulfilling to see how far I've come. I can actually do some of the harder ab moves in Ab Ripper X, and with Plyo I can pretty much do EVERYTHING. Which I LOVE! Also, when I flex you can see my biceps and it looks COOL. I think I might like this whole muscle thing!! :)

I kind of freak out when I think about how I have 45 days left (just realized I'm half way through!) I freak out because I feel like I'm so far from where I want to be! I have to really buckle down and have self control with all eating (that is my problem) and give it all I got. :)
